Education

Dr. Candela attended Dutch Fork High School in Irmo, South Carolina. From there, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology at Lander University in Greenwood, SC. After serious consideration of her career desires, Dr. Candela and her husband moved to Augusta, Georgia, where she received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University.

Professional Memberships

Dr. Candela is currently an active member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.

Life & Hobbies

Dr. Candela is happily married, and they have two dogs. They are planning to start a family in the near future. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her husband, traveling, finding vegan food dives, hiking, "glamping" (glamorous camping), walking with their dogs, watching movies, and practicing yoga.
